Immune Booster Shot

Ingredients:

1 orange peeled

1 inch piece of ginger, peeled and chopped

1 inch piece of turmeric, peeled and chopped

pinch of black pepper or cayenne, to taste

pinch of sea salt

1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, black cumin seed oil, oregano oil

Assembly:

Load all the ingredients in a blender or food processor and process until combined. Enjoy!

This recipe can easily be increased and stored in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days, or poured into ice trays and frozen for use at a later time. Remove one to two ice cubs pour 8 to 16 ounces of warm water over cubes.

Turmeric root is often time used topically as well to relieve inflammation and pain. Curcumin, which gives turmeric is yellow color, has demonstrated great anti-inflammatory activity though out the years. Often times curcumins anti inflammatory effects have been compared to those of potent drugs hydrocortisone, and phenylbutazone as well as ibuprofen.

Black pepper and the oil both aid in the uptake and absorption of the properties of ginger and turmeric.
